The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is India's most prestigious and globally recognised management institution. 🎯 Admission Process & CAT Cutoff 2026

Admission to IIM Ahmedabad PGP is a rigorous two-stage process. Stage 1 is shortlisting for AWT & PI based on CAT 2025 scores and academic profile. Stage 2 is the final selection based on AWT, PI, CAT score, and overall profile.

Step-by-Step Admission Process

• Step 1 — Appear for CAT 2025: CAT is typically held in November. Target 99+ percentile to maximise chances. Ensure positive scores in all three sections.
• Step 2 — Apply to IIMA: After CAT registration (August–September), indicate IIMA as a preferred college. Fill in academic details, work experience, and diversity information accurately.
• Step 3 — PI Shortlist: IIMA releases AWT & PI shortlist in the second week of January 2026. Check iima.ac.in for shortlist status.
• Step 4 — AWT & PI: Attend Analytical Writing Test and Personal Interview at your chosen city. Prepare for case-based discussions, your academic background, and current affairs.
• Step 5 — Admission Offer: IIMA sends admission offers in March 2026. Accept within the deadline and pay the seat confirmation fee.

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD)
• Final year students can also apply — must submit degree by June 30, 2026
• Work experience is not mandatory for PGP or PGP-FABM
