- UGC-DEB approval for your enrolment year — verify at deb.ugc.ac.in. Not last year — this year.
- The specific campus issuing your degree — for Manipal, know if it is MAHE, MUJ, or SMU. Each has a different NIRF rank and NAAC grade.
- Total fee in writing — get a breakdown including exam fees, study material, LMS, and any other charges. Many universities list semester fee only.
