🏥 About AIIMS Jodhpur & AIIMS Bhopal

Both AIIMS Jodhpur and AIIMS Bhopal were established in 2012 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) — a government programme to expand quality medical education across India. Both hold the status of Institutions of National Importance and are governed autonomously under the central government.

In the 13 years since their establishment, both campuses have grown significantly — investing in infrastructure, faculty, research capacity, and hospital quality. AIIMS Jodhpur is ranked #19 in NIRF Medical 2025, while AIIMS Bhopal is ranked #25. Both are in the top 6 AIIMS campuses nationally after AIIMS New Delhi.

For NEET aspirants who fall just outside the top-300 required for AIIMS Delhi or JIPMER, these two campuses represent a premium option — carrying the full "AIIMS" brand with near-zero fees, strong faculty, and growing clinical exposure.

Why choose a newer AIIMS over a top private college? AIIMS brand carries weight in every PG counselling round — AIIMS graduates dominate INI CET top ranks. The fees are almost zero. The faculty is recruited from AIIMS Delhi and top medical institutions. And the research culture is being actively built. A degree saying "AIIMS" opens doors that no private college can match.
